Before Measuring the Skin
For the operator
Confirm the subject when re-measuring
Make sure the registered subject information matches the person being measured.
Wipe the probe clean
Check the probe for any residue before measuring and wipe it with a soft cloth.
Avoid blemishes
If the area has a wound or blemish, measure a different spot.
Recommended order
We recommend measuring in the order tone → moisture → oil → elasticity.
For the subject
Not right after a procedure
Measurements may be inaccurate right after plastic surgery, skin procedures or treatment, so please avoid using it then.
No makeup
After washing, keep the skin free of cosmetics, oils and lotions.
Wash the face with lukewarm water
Wash your hands, then wash the face with a cleanser and lukewarm water.
Wait 30 minutes after washing
Measure at least 30 minutes after washing, once the skin has settled.
Measure while seated
We recommend measuring while the subject is seated.
Correct posture
During measurement, keep the forehead uncovered, remove glasses and keep a neutral expression.
